This is the maximum output of your charger - essentially how much electricity it can put out.

7kW (or 7.4kW to be exact) is currently the "average" for home EV charging.  This equates to roughly 30 miles for every hour on charge - although this is a rough average taken across multiple different makes and models of cars and chargers.

Some chargers are capable of higher "fast charging" rates, such as 22kW.   However, in order to take advantage of this, your home would have to meet some specialist requirements.

This is the size of your new charger, shown in Height x Width x Depth (mm).  This excludes any mounting equipment required.

The warranty provided by the manufacturer for your charger.

The vast majority of EV's on the road are whats known as "Type 2". 

However, some models - particular older ones, may use "Type 1".   That said, older EV's can still make use of untethered type 2 chargers with a "Type 1 to Type 2" cable

Supporting apps from the manufacturer of the charger make monitoring your ongoing charge easy!  Many also allow you to do things such as start and stop your charge, schedule a charge or lock you cable.

Many charges come with a choice of colours and finishes.

Connectivity allows your charger to access the internet to allow it to download updates, as well as transfer information to you about your car and charger.

WiFi is the most common method for this - your charger will make use of your existing home network.  However, if your router is placed significantly far from where your charger will be installed, or the style of the build of your home causes coverage issues, you may want to consider a charger that uses 3G or 4G instead.

Similarly, 3G/4G connectivity is a common and hassle-free way for your charger to communicate.  If you live in an area with poor reception, however, you may want to consider a charger than can also make use of alternative connections, such as WiFi or Bluetooth.
