Did you know you could get up to £30,000 to spend on a second-hand EV in Scotland?
The loan, available from the Energy Saving Trust (EST) allows you to spread the payments over 5 years with no interest or charges applied. What’s more, you could even get £650 worth of funding towards an EV Charge Point at your home for your new car too.
You can buy your new car from any dealership. The only requirement is that it must have at least 1,000 miles on the clock already – meaning ex-demo cars could be a possibility too:
“Ex-demonstrator vehicles are eligible for the Used Electric Vehicle Loan if their mileage is over 1,000 and they are over 6 months old. Pre-registered vehicles are not eligible for the loan” (Source: EST)
Fancy a bike instead? 0% loans are available for them too – up to £5000.
